What happens

Marshal Dillon is called to the hotel to settle a dispute between the proprietor Mr. Doby and a mountain man named Dan Daggett who has arrived in Dodge City with his wife. When Dillon investigates, he discovers that Mrs. Daggett is the daughter of Yellow Horse, a Kiowa chief whose tribe conducted deadly raids in the area two years prior, and Mr. Doby refuses to allow her to stay in his establishment because of her father's violent past.
