What happens
A troublemaker named Joe Sleet comes to Dodge City, loudly bragging about his gunfighting skills and antagonizing the locals. When Sleet confronts a man named Maker in the saloon, Maker shoots him down in a quick draw, leaving Sleet badly wounded.
Dodge City, Kansas - primarily the Long Branch Saloon and Doc's office
Characters: Matt Dillon, Doc, Chester, Joe Sleet, Maker, Judge Meadows, Kitty
Listen for: The tense confrontation between the boastful gunfighter Joe Sleet and the quiet but deadly Maker; Matt Dillon's concern about enforcing the law even when a troublemaker deserves what he gets.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
