What happens

Marshal Dillon is summoned to the remote Maclin family homestead by young Danny, whose father has gone off on a violent bender with two guns and ammunition. Upon arriving, Dillon finds a troubled household where the father's whereabouts are unknown, the family members give conflicting accounts, and an uneasy tension pervades the home.
