What happens

A government payroll is stolen from two murdered Army soldiers near Dodge City, and the commanding major threatens to impose martial law if Marshal Dillon doesn't make an arrest within a week. Dillon suspects an Army insider leaked information about the payroll delivery, and begins investigating a mysterious dancehall girl named Connie who recently arrived in town.
