What happens
A traveling musician named Cain Vester arrives in Dodge City on his way to Arizona. Doc reveals that Cain is dying of consumption and has only a couple of months to live. When Marshal Dillon learns that Chester has been teaching Cain to shoot, he becomes concerned about why a dying man would suddenly need to learn to use a gun.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
