What happens

Amy Slater arrives in Dodge City seeking out Marshal Matt Dillon, claiming she has come to die and asking him to kill her. When Dillon refuses, she attempts to provoke him into drawing his gun by shooting at him in the street, hoping to force him into a confrontation that would end her life.
