What happens

JB Kendall encounters a desperate woman named Almira Danworthy who has been driven from her homestead claim in Dakota Territory by a mysterious stranger. Her husband died while she was back East, and now someone has occupied the 160 acres she fought to establish, threatening her right to keep the land she must prove up on within six months.
