What happens

In Deadwood, Dakota Territory, JB Kendall encounters a desperate man named Thomas Yorby at the gunsmith's shop who is fleeing from a vengeful pursuer determined to kill him. When the gunman confronts Yorby outside the shop, Kendall intervenes to prevent an unarmed man from being shot, driving the attacker away temporarily. Yorby reveals he is exhausted by years of running from this threat and sees no escape from his fate.
