What happens
A wounded Indian scout named Charlie stumbles into Fort Laramie's camp and is taken in by the Captain and his men. Badly shot up with multiple bullets in his leg, Charlie refuses to drink water or explain who shot him, communicating minimally in broken English. The Captain prepares to perform surgery to remove the bullets and save Charlie's life.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
