What happens

Dan Holiday receives a mysterious letter from Mr. Alexander directing him to visit Dr. Ogden, a psychic who claims to divine information through supernatural means. When Holiday provides his name to Dr. Ogden through a written note, the doctor reacts with extreme fear and throws him out. Holiday then discovers that Dr. Ogden is actually Marvin Smith, a suspect in an unsolved murder from years past, and that Mr. Alexander may be Philip Carey, the brother of the victim seeking revenge.
