What happens

Dan Holiday receives a mysterious dinner invitation from wealthy eccentric Charles Winthrop, who proposes an unusual game: Holiday and three strangers will compete to find a hidden packet containing $100,000. The twist is that if anyone finds the money, Winthrop will match it with another $100,000 for charity—but Winthrop admits one of the four competitors is willing to kill for the prize, and he's orchestrated the competition purely for his own amusement.
