What happens

Dan Holiday receives an unsigned letter about a 1938 car doing 100 miles per hour—an apparent impossibility. A mysterious woman named Nancy Peters drives up and reveals her brother Tom is trapped in a stolen car syndicate and cannot escape without help. Holiday takes a job at the Acme Filling Station to investigate the operation from the inside.
