What happens

Dan Holiday receives a mysterious letter from a blind man named William Michaels who has discovered a hidden message scratched in Braille on a library book reading "Help me. One, two, one, seven, Granger Avenue." Holiday and Michaels trace the book's checkout card to Mrs. Martha Corbett and decide to investigate further, leading Holiday to visit a doctor whose name appears connected to the case.

A city with a public library, Braille reading room, and doctor's office; the story involves tracking a mysterious Braille message and following leads through library records.

Characters: Dan Holiday, William Michaels, Susie, Mrs. Martha Corbett, Dr. Folsi

Listen for: A desperate cry for help hidden in plain sight within a Braille book; the suspicious reactions when Dan Holiday mentions Mrs. Corbett's name to the doctor.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
