What happens

Dan Holiday receives a note from Johnny Capelli, an old wartime friend and middleweight boxing contender, inviting him to watch his fight against Brennan. When Dan arrives at the stadium, Johnny has already been knocked out in what appears to be a suspicious performance. After the fight, Johnny barricades himself in his dressing room and escapes through a window, leaving everyone confused about what happened.
