What happens

Dan Holiday receives a mysterious invitation to a radio broadcast, where he meets actress Jean Blake at a restaurant. She reveals she needs his help, claiming she will be killed, and desperately pleads for his assistance despite his reluctance to get involved.

A radio station, the Mayfair restaurant, and Dan Holiday's office in the city.

Characters: Dan Holiday, Susie, Jean Blake, Marvin Masterson, Pop

Listen for: A mysterious woman's plea for help, a cryptic phone call, and the revelation of a murder threat.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
