What happens
When the Parkway Bank is robbed and a guard is shot dead, Boston Blackie discovers that the thieves used a phony street construction operation as cover for the heist. The criminals posed as street workers with a truck bearing distinctive license plates, and they covered their escape with the noise of street drilling. Blackie pursues the investigation, suspecting the robbery may be connected to a street commission employee named John Manders whose truck was reported stolen.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
