What happens

When wax museum owner Percy Wayne sends Boston Blackie a life-size wax figure of himself in a coffin as a publicity stunt, it terrifies Mary Wesley into thinking Blackie is dead. Meanwhile, Inspector Faraday learns that mysterious Midwest racketeer Duke Allen is coming to town to muscle in on the Mosley Brothers' operations. Blackie discovers that Wayne has a wax figure of Duke Allen on display, and uses this to his advantage by switching the museum labels so the Mosleys photograph his image instead of Allen's, drawing them out into the open.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
