What happens
Henry Peterson, a harmonica player new to town, becomes caught between Sally Rogers, who has abandoned her boyfriend Bill Foster for him, and Foster himself, a dangerous racketeer who threatens violence. When Sally's jealous threats drive Henry to leave, a wounded man appears at Bill Foster's apartment claiming to be Henry and accusing Sally of shooting him.
A city apartment building; Boston Blackie's office and apartment
Characters: Boston Blackie, Henry Peterson, Sally Rogers, Bill Foster, Inspector Faraday, Mary
Listen for: The mystery of the shooting victim's true identity and whether Henry Peterson is really alive; the harmonica as a means of verification
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
