What happens
Boston Blackie is called by a man named Henry Williams who claims he's the real target of a murderer—another Henry Williams, a philanthropist, was killed by mistake that morning. Williams says he's a legitimate businessman expanding into territory controlled by the dangerous racketeer Joe Carter, who has threatened him and apparently hired someone to kill him. Blackie agrees to help track down Carter and stop him.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
