What happens
Boston Blackie pursues a man named Martin who has stolen rings from a jewelry store. When Martin cleverly tosses the rings into a Salvation Army Santa Claus's collection bucket to hide them, Blackie and Faraday must track down the Santa to recover the stolen goods before Martin retrieves them himself.
A city during Christmas Eve, including a dock, jewelry store, and street corners where Salvation Army Santas collect donations.
Characters: Boston Blackie, Faraday, Clark, Martin, Henry James (Santa Claus), Mary
Listen for: The clever hiding of stolen rings in a Santa's collection bucket, and Blackie's determination to outwit both a criminal and the holiday season.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
