What happens

Slade Shannon, a Havana boat owner and hotel keeper, is drawn into a hunt for a valuable ivory Quan Yin statue after Chinese girl Me Long is brought to Havana by his client Sam Chu. Armed men board Shannon's boat demanding the statue, and Me Long is taken. Shannon and his companion Sailor Eorth then learn that Sam Chu has been found dead, and Me Long is dead as well. The Quan Yin remains the central object of the chase as dealers, thugs and a mysterious woman named Tamar all want it. The story is part of the Bold Venture radio series, starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
