WHAAAAAAAT?! Hold on to your hats, because here comes another Rooten-Tooten Wild Bill Hickok adventure, starring Guy Madison as Wild Bill, and Andy Divine as his pal Jingle. We'll hear the exciting story, big welcome at Shady Rest, right after this message.
Danger waited behind every rock and tree for those who rode the law trail in the early days of the Old West. The most famous pair of lawmen to face that danger for United States Marshal, while Bill Hickock and his deputy jingles, and one of the most dangerous situations they ever faced, came when blazing six guns gave them a big welcome at Shady Rest.
Bill, if we don't come to a town right soon, I'm just gonna crawl up behind one of them big rocks and give up the ghost. Well, perk up jingles and read that sign at the side of the road.
Who about you? Oh, oh, Jugga. What sign, Bill? Right there. Oh yeah sure. Says, um, shady rest, three miles. Well now that's fine. Um, no, what's that skull and cross bones doing painted on that side?
That generally means poison burner. It might mean the town is poisonous strangers. Well I don't care. I'm tired and hungry and I gotta find the blacksmith for Joker. He's gonna go lame on me. Come on, come on, let's go Joker.
Ah! All right jingles, but we could be asking for trouble. Well, that ain't gonna stop me. I just find anybody trying to give me money. Hold it, hold it. Mil, those shots were meant for us.
She looks that way, jingles. Here comes a gent with a rifle pointed right for your brisket. Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh. Oh, uh. Ain't you headed down the wrong road, strangers? No, we ain't.
