(xx) Sade Plays Rummy

Well sir, it's early evening as our scene opens now. And here in the living room of the small house halfway up in the next block we find Vic and Young Russell. The gentleman are established at the library table matching wits in a game of rummy.

A hand has just been finished as we join our friends and the conqueror is saying to the vanquished... It gives me a sweet, darling, warm little feeling to reflect it. I'm probably the greatest rummy player in the fish's earth today.

It's not very hard to win when you get dealt two spreads right off the bat. Do you pick it my hand? Of course not! Then how could you have gotten privy to the information I got dealt to spread?

Well the effort game only lasted about a minute. It is a regrettable habit to jump into conclusion, Mrs. Russell. Who's jumping at conclusions? Why, hello, Stady Honey! We had a bad given you up! We thought you'd run away to Peoria and got married.
