WVPR in Windsor, Vermont. And now... The Hall of Fantasy. The unusual and the unknown. We go to the center of the world, down to the depth, with a veil of time to sit.
And the supernatural reigns in cake. Comfort me and this is the pay of the diamonds of death. Probably a tiger somewhere in the jungle. Who is a tiger, this? Are you sure they've on a tank?
I can't. The campfire alone is enough to keep him at good distance. Not very sure, you'll be safe. Listen. Yes, native drum. Come, Harvey. Take down your arms. They only sound ominous if you believe them.
Just the wounded animals cleaning out. No, no, there was something else. The jungle has a voice, for our godly. That is only for children to believe. In just a moment, the Hall of Fantasy will present the diamonds of death.
And now for our story. An original tale of fantasy by Richard Thorne, entitled The Diamonds of Death. Vince Porter had just returned from a business trip to Caracas. He called me shortly after his plane landed and said that it was important that Sharon and I come over to his hotel that evening.
I tried to get more information out of him but had no success. At 8.30 that evening we were in his apartment and there began the story I am telling him. Good to see you, Vince.
Glad to be back, yeah. Sharon, you're looking lovelier than that. Oh, always there with a compliment, Vince. Now, why don't you say nice things like that to me, Jeff? I'm married to you, darling. There's someone else here that I want you to meet.
