Diary of a Train Trip to Hollywood ( )

The Danny K Show Yes, it's the Danny K Show with E. Varden, Lionel Stander, yours truly Ken Niles and the outstanding music of America's tough band, Harry James and his music maker. For your entertainment we present the amazingly amusing talents of the one and only Danny K.

Well, today is the day our hero Danny Kay gets back from his happy and hectic trip to New York. Harry James, the orchestra boy's in myself, are all down here at the Los Angeles Union Station waiting for Danny's train to come in.

Ken, are you sure Danny's on the super chief? Well, Harry, just to check up, I'll ask the station master. Oh, pardon me sir, have you any idea if Danny Kay is on the super chief?

Danny Kay on the super chief. Is Danny Kay on the super chief? Just listen to this wire I got some conductors. Quote, to make run over mountains, we hook pusher engine on the rear of the train.

Some of our fellow named Danny K got into the cabotist engine. The front engine pulled the train west. At the same time K put the rear engine in reverse. Just pulled the train east. Arriving on track for a long, thin, silver cave.

Yeah, Danny's on the train, all right. Hi Danny! Hi Danny! How are you? Harry, we missed you too Harry. God, she is wonderful. I come back after a long journey and have your friends working with you open arms.

It's really friendship. It touches me right here. I don't know what to say. I'm so overwhelmed. I'm overcome. I'm over joined. You're overacting too. Oh Harry, before I forget, I brought your present from New York here open it up. Gee thanks. Just what I always wanted an autographed picture of Benny Goodman.
