New Dress

The adventures of Aussie and Harriet. Presenting America's favorite young couple, Aussie Nelson and Harriet Hillier. And now let's see what's going on in the Nelson family. Harriet! Mom's not home, Bob. She went downtown shopping.

Oh. Just you and Ricky taking care of the house? Yeah, Ricky's in her house, Steph. Oh, that's fine. You're getting to be big boys. What are you doing, just sitting here in the house? We're looking at a magazine.

It's a neat one, boy. Lots of swell pictures in it. Oh, that's good. Did you get a new comic book? No, it's Mom and I just came right here. Oh, Harper's Bazaar. Well, boy, this isn't kind of a magazine that...

well, certainly there's something else in the house you can look at. Mom was looking at us this morning. Well, yes, I know, but... Mostly pictures, please. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. No, Ricky, I just glancing through. You see, this magazine is not intended for men.

It's for girls. Why are you looking at it? Well, I'm not exactly looking at it, David. I'm just glancing. If you got some funny looking dresses in there, I'm glad Mom doesn't have to wear them.

Ah, that's right, David. Fortunately, Mother's taste run more than the conservative. Her clothes are always neat and attractive, and she always looks very smart. Mom is smart, boy. She's a smart boy and I hold family.

Isn't she, Pop? Well, yes, I guess you could say that. Well, you can see how Ozzy and the boys feel. Mother will never be lured into any of these super-siles. Oh, wait a minute. Harry has gone into that downtown den of fashion, the Lop-Rizien dress shop.
