Thorny's Gift

The Adventures of Aussie and Harriet. Presenting America's favorite young couple, Aussie Nelson and Harriet Hilliam. And now let's see what's going on in the Nelson family. Well, it's Sunday morning as we visit the Nelson household at 1847 Rogers Road.

Aussie, Harriet, David and Ricky are seated around the kitchen table. They're just about finished breakfast. Ah, those hot takes are great Harriet. Thanks, dear. Care for any more? I couldn't eat another mouthful. Sure was it, Swellmere wasn't it, Pop?

That certainly was, David. Nice day after they too. Yes, beautiful. Did you sleep well last night, Pop? Yes, I did, David. It was a good meal. It's a nice day and I slept fine. You can bring out your report card now.

I told you it wouldn't work. Here's your report card, Pop. David said it was before on Pop, but I told him, Pop learned. English A, spelling A, geography A, say this is alright. arithmetic A, history B.

Well that's a darn good report, card David. Thanks Bob, what'd you get, Aussie? All A's except in history. Oh dear, and that's a subject you've been helping him with. We got a B in history, that's not so bad.

Here's Mickey's card, he did pretty well too, Daddy. Except for this one right here. Hmm. Well, unsatisfactory in courtesy. How did that happen, Ricky? I don't know, Pop. Well, you must have done something discretious there, don't you know what it was?

I don't know. Did you have any trouble with one of the other kids at any time? Well, not exactly. One day I tried to beat Marianne Mason to the procrum and I tripped her and she fell down.
