Rotary International, a world fellowship of business and professional men with a common ideal of service, presents the Rotary Golden Theatre. While the 8,000 Rotary Clubs and 89 countries throughout the world are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Rotary International, an organization fostering the ideal of service in personal business and community life, and working for the advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and

peace through a world fellowship of business and professional men, in observance of its Golden Anniversary and as a public service, Rotary International brings you the Rotary Golden Theatre. As we enter the Rotary Golden Theatre, the bright lights blaze forth the title of the drama we are about to see.

Where they work, we take our seats. The curtain rises to reveal the living room of the Frederick Freer home. It's a bright, pleasant room in a large house on a sprawling country estate, and a state that has been in the Freer family for three generations.

In spite of the storm outside, the room maintains its cheeriness, a gaiety that Betty Freer and her father don't seem to share. There's no use going over all this again, Father. I'm going up to my room.

Betty, come back here. This head of this household I'll decide whether or not a subject merits discussion. But it's so futile. I've told you a number of times that it displeases me to have you seeing that carpenter boy.

Dad don't call him that carpenter boy. Don carpenter is a senior in college. He's nearly 23 years old. That hardly makes him an elderly man. One of the tenant farmers told me that he saw you leaving the movie theater in middle city with young carpenter last night.
