Our choir is under the direction of Norman Luboff, and our music is prepared and conducted by Carmen Dragon. Yes, tonight another memorable musical is brought to you by the American Railroad, the same railroads that bring you most of the food you eat, the clothes you wear, the fuel you burn, and all the other things you use in your daily life.
And now here is our star, Gordon McRae! Thank you, my mother, and good evening ladies and gentlemen. Well sir, we have some wonderful music to sing tonight. So my guest, Dara, Anna Mary Dickey and I are officially proclaiming that spring is here.

Betty. Oh, are you here again, Terry? Well, who would you expect? Nobody. Well, I'm here so you won't be disappointed. Terry, I've told you a million times It's no use hanging around here. You're just never going to amount to anything.
Well, look, Betty, there's something I've been wanting to say to you for a long time. Well, why don't you say it then? I thought it was as easy as that. I would have done it a long time ago, but I can't.
