The show train! Tonight the Association of American Railroads presents the nostalgic Broadway musical High-Button Shoes. Starring Gordon MacRae and his guest star Margaret Whitey. Our choir is under the direction of Norman Luboff and our music is prepared and conducted by Carmen Dragett.

Yes, tonight another great musical success is brought to you by the American Railroads. The same railroads that bring you most of the food you eat, the clothes you wear, the fuel you burn, and all the other things you use in your daily life.

And now here is our star, Gordon McRae! Good evening, my mother and good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Well, sir, tonight, a lovely memory of the days of hobble skirts and mandalins and high button shoes.

Margaret writing his model on the street, and I'm the fortunate pop along street in one of the most charming musicals. And here's high button shoots. Yes, dear. Listen to what they're playing on the radio.

That wonderful old poker we used to dance to. We're back in 1913. You know, I guess they're bringing back all the old songs, mama. How about dance with me? Now, Sarah, you know I've got two left beat.

Oh, you're a good dancer, proper. You know that, and please. Just once around the living room for old times sake. I'd fall apart. Oh, please, father. Ha! How old you dance with me? Oh, dance with me.

Please, dance with me. Ha! Oh, take a chance with me. And dance with me tonight. And when you worry around And when we hear the trombone What we're guiding For a vocal power I want to dance with me, oh dance with me Please dance with me When you hold me, hold me Tired of all I want to dance with me
