The time, seven o'clock. From the NBC studios in Chicago, Scali Oil Company presents Alex Dryer with the first network news commentary of the day. Well friends, what are you planning to do this weekend? If the weather's nice, you may decide to hop in the old bus and take a drive somewhere.
And you're off for thousands and thousands of motorists, that's one of the high spots in the weekend. But say, wait a minute. Before you start out, make sure that you're going to enjoy that extra motoring to the the fullest. And by that I mean make sure that your car is in a number one shape from
headlights to taillights. How do you go about doing this? Why, see your nearby friendly skelly man, of course. Take it from me, he'll see to it that your car is correctly lubricated, right down to the last spring. He'll check your tires over completely and see that they're properly inflated. He'll make sure your battery is filled and in good shape for driving. He'll
go over your accessories one by one and check them all for maximum service. And last of all, he'll fill your tank right up to the top with some of that power packing, pleasure-making, Skelly Gasoline. Remember, friend, safe driving is pleasant driving. So visit your Skelly Man today and make sure you have it and a happy motoring weekend to you all.
