And you're listening to me. Oh, how to. A man who defies any adjective to describe him. He's Fred Allen in person. Thank you, all. Thank you. And good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Now where's that joke, Harry?

Oh, Fred. I wrote a joke on my cuff. Well, I know that I wrote a joke on my cuff last Thursday, Harry. This is the same shirt. Now, I've got to stop off my car.

I'll hold with joke after joke after the train. Who has started a trend? He has started a trend. Velocity is the thing. And I've got to. Oh, here it is, Harry. I've got it. It was up my sleeve. So many people on my cuff, the joke got up my sleeve tonight.

But funny thing happened coming to the studio tonight, Harry. Of course, it was unfortunate. Nothing funny happened when I got to the studio but on the way. But coming down the town in the subway tonight, Harry, a man got on at 61st Street.

Now as we know, there is no subway station at 61st Street, so I knew, I knew instantly, something was wrong. And so I turned to the man and I said, do you realize that you just got on at 61st Street, and there's no subway station there?

And the fella said, boy, do I need glasses? And then there was the attacker sitting in the corner who spoke up. And then, look, Fred, get away Harry, abalone. No, Fred, I think you better go into the news.

Well, look, I've got two more jokes, Harry, and then I'm up. Well, no, Fred. You know what happens every week now. Nothing I know, but don't worry about it, Harry. No, the thing that happens to show us too long, and we have to cut off the end of the program, every week.
