Gracie Treats George Like A King

Another cup of Maxwell House Coffee George. Well sure, pour me a cup Gracy. You know Maxwell House is always good to the left. Drop. That drops good too. Yes, it's Maxwell House Coffee Time, starring George Burns and Gracie Allen.

With your truly built good win, the music of Meredith Wilson and his orchestra, our postman Mel Blank and Elliot Lewis. For your Thursday night comedy enjoyment, it's George and Gracie. And for your everyday coffee drinking enjoyment, it's Maxwell House.

The coffee that's always good to the last drop. Well, after four weeks of anxiety and discomfort because Gracie sold their house, the Burnesers were finally able to buy it back. We find them now at breakfast discussing the matter.

Oh, Gracie, that stupid decision to sell the house caused us plenty of trouble. Hope it taught you lessons. Oh, it did, Georgia did. I promise you, I'll never make another stupid decision. From now on you make them all.

Okay. It's so ridiculous of me to try to make decisions. You're the brains in this family. For sure. Why? A woman doesn't even need her brain if she's got a husband as smart as you.

People tried to tell me that when I married you. They did. Oh yes, they said someone without a brain in their head should marry you. Right. I say. I say, of course it didn't work out that way. I married you.

It worked out that way. Well anyway, judge. It worked out that way. I always tried twice. Yeah. Well, I've been a silly headstrong girl and I've caused you lots of trouble and unhappiness. But I'm going to spend the rest of my life making it up to you, serving you, waiting on you, obeying your every wish.
