A Fred Allen show, originally scheduled for this time, will not be heard. In its place, Special Service invites you to call on turns and Gracie Allen. Come on in, soldiers, sailors, and Marines of the United Nations.

As the Special Service Division rebroadcat, the Burns and Allen show. Paul Whiteman, D'Auckett, and Cora, start the proceedings with, I got six- Darling, darling, six-men, I've gotten six-men to laugh me all my life. I've got thousands of men and thousands of men and thousands of men And stop them to second to my wife

And don't care how I could treat me So pretty little just to defeat me I'm happy as I might be Lead me as I go Loud and warm And fall and hold By the light of the silvery moon Happy is the day when we light us for our fate As people roll and roll and roll and make our hollies

And now I meet the people who live in the burn time Good morning. Now it's morning at the burn pass and we find Gracie at the front door talking to her good friend and daily visitor the postman.

Now that's why I'm late this morning. I was in the dentist chair for two hours. Oh, you poor man. Did the dentist like you? Yes, but I didn't blink. Not a whimper escape on lips. I have nerves to see you.

Oh my goodness Mr. Posenah, you must be the hour-lad of the post office. How true. The muffle of my jaws are so strong, the dentist couldn't pull my tooth out. He prying and jiggled and hammered.

Oh, how awful! Yes. Finally, the dentist couldn't stand it. He had to give himself a shot of novocaine. Oh, you know, I used to pull a tooth by tying a spring around it and fastening the other end to a door now.
