What happens
Jim Brennan, a wanderer hunted for a murder he says he did not commit, drifts through Texas under the name Bob Edwards. In San Antonio he falls for Betty, a girl who is interested in him, while he keeps his past hidden. Jimmy Wakeley stars in this Western musical drama from the All Star Western Theatre, a radio series, first broadcast on August 18, 1946. Brennan's life is shaped by the frame-up and the long flight from Nevada, and his feelings for Betty are complicated by his silence about who he really is.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
