What happens

Marshal Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles meet a stranger from St. Louis, Roland Packer, who is heading for Mile High Rock in Arizona. Packer has bought a claim there after answering an advertisement, and his talk of a golden opportunity draws suspicion. When gunmen fire on the climbers and the pair learn of a swindle, Hickok sets a trap to draw out the man behind the sale. This is a Wild Bill Hickok episode from the Kellogg's Rice Krispies program, aired on September 19, 1952, with Guy Madison as Hickok and Andy Devine as Jingles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
