What happens

Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles are caught off guard while bathing in a river near an old mill. A gunman, working for the outlaw known as the Rattler, shoots at them, and the two lawmen are left without their guns and clothes. The gunman reports to the Rattler, who doubts his story and insists on checking the mill himself. Bill and Jingles, nearly drowned under the water wheel, recover their weapons and set out to track the outlaw. Their pursuit follows a series of trails and a deserted hideout filled with hidden guns and a strongbox.

The American Old West, along a river with an old mill and a water wheel, and an outlaw hideout.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
