What happens
Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles investigate a series of nighttime robberies and killings in which cattlemen are robbed of their money by a masked bandit riding a distinctive white horse with a black mane and tail. Laura Gaines reports the attack on her husband Sam, who was shot during the holdup. Bill and Jingles question the stage driver Si Williams, whose horse matches the description, and must decide whether he is the rider or whether the clues point elsewhere. The episode is part of the Wild Bill Hickok radio series, starring Guy Madison as Wild Bill and Andy Devine as Jingles. It was first broadcast on January 22, 1954.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
