What happens

Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles ride to Ira Mackey's sheep ranch after Ira writes that his sheep are vanishing. Along the way they are warned off by Marshal Tom Shane and quarrel with the cattleman Baldy Mattson, and they are met with gunfire at a neighboring property. At Ira's ranch they find that the flock is shrinking without any tracks left behind. Wild Bill begins to suspect that the sheep are being led away quietly by someone walking ahead of them, and he sets out to test that idea. The episode is a Kellogg's Rice Krispies broadcast of the Wild Bill Hickok series, with Guy Madison as Hickok and Andy Devine as Jingles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
