What happens

Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles are called to help Cap Curry, whose brother Rob was killed after a herd of horses stampeded during a drive to market. Cap has hired them to help protect the drive, which he worries may be targeted again. Gans, a new partner in the ranch, is involved in the herd and the killing, and the trouble follows the herd to Crow Canyon. This is the Wild Bill Hickok series, first broadcast on October 7, 1953.

Texas, on a cattle and horse ranch and along a drive toward Dodge City, including a chuck wagon camp and Crow Canyon

Characters: Wild Bill Hickok, Jingles, Cap Curry, Rob Curry, Bull Gans, Shorty

Listen for: The night stampede and the shots fired at the chuck wagon, and the moment Hickok reaches the box canyon.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
