What happens
Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles investigate cattle smuggling along the border. Their search leads them to a gloomy old house on Windy Hill, which Jingles refuses to enter after a frightening experience there. Bill learns that a rancher named Pop Jinks was ambushed on his way to Bill's office, and his son Jim Jinks is shaken by the news. Bill suspects that the cattle being brought across the border are carrying tick fever, and a rustler named Low-Dye Tom becomes a suspect. The episode is from the Wild Bill Hickok series, first aired on October 14, 1953, with Guy Madison and Andy Devine in the leading roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
