What happens

Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles arrive on the plains, where buffalo hunters are being ambushed and their hides stolen. Guy Madison plays Wild Bill and Andy Devine plays Jingles in this 1954 episode of the Wild Bill Hickok series, first aired on March 10, 1954. Bill and Jingles rescue the hunter Matt Miller from attackers, then ride through a stampeding buffalo herd in pursuit of the three gunmen. Back at Miller's camp they learn that the hides are sold through a trading post run by Judd Sloane, and they confront him at the railroad loading platform. Bill and Jingles set a trap around Miller's hides to catch the gang and expose who is behind the killings.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
