What happens

Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles, played by Guy Madison and Andy Devine, come upon a wounded young person in a canoe on a river in Colorado. They take the injured figure to a doctor in Harrisville, where they learn the person is a woman named Jane Klaus. Jane runs a logging camp at Thunder Rapids, and the two lawmen begin to question who would want her harmed. Their investigation draws them into a dispute with a rival logging operator and sets up a race to get her logs downriver to the mill. The episode is from the Wild Bill Hickok series, first broadcast on 1951-09-09, sponsored by Kellogg's Corn Pops.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
