What happens

Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles arrive in the Bitter Creek Valley, where a new railroad spur is being built and several ranchers have been killed in blasts and rockslides. Hickok, a United States Marshal, is sent to restore order between the railroad crew and the angry cattlemen. Along the way he meets the railroad foreman's son, the mayor, rancher Sam Cox, and the widow Ma Parker, and begins to suspect that the accidents are not what they seem. The episode is from the Wild Bill Hickok series, first broadcast on April 1, 1951, with Guy Madison as Hickok and Andy Devine as Jingles.

Listen for: The rifle ambush on the railroad crew at Stony Pass and the fuse burning under the marshal's office

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
