What happens

Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles ride into the town of Mossy Bend after hearing that outlaws Big John and Little Mike have been terrorizing the area. The local sheriff, who runs a hardware store and is out of his depth, sends for Hickok to help bring the pair in. Hickok and Jingles meet a fleeing rider, a boy named Buddy, and a wedged-in Jingles along the way. Big John and Little Mike hold out at a hidden cabin, and Little Mike is caught spying on the outlaws' hideout. The Wild Bill Hickok radio series starred Guy Madison and Andy Devine, and this episode aired on March 12, 1952.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
