What happens

Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles ride west toward Laramie, Wyoming, after a letter from Colonel Custer. On the trail they stop a rider, Jim Bretton, who has been looking back nervously, and they learn he is headed home after a letter reported his brother Paul dead. At the Bretton ranch they find Jim's brother Bob shot on the porch. Jim believes the Mallet brothers are responsible and refuses to let the law handle it, while Hickok tries to stop him from taking revenge on his own.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
