What happens

Rush Gook sits alone in the living room of the Gook house, struggling with a set of algebra homework. Uncle Fletcher, who is visiting, offers to help him with the problems. He takes over a problem about a bottle and a cork, insisting the work be done his own way. The telephone rings with invitations from friends to go out, which Rush declines to do his homework. Rush is determined to finish the assignment.

The living room of the small house halfway up in the next block, early evening.

Characters: Rush, Uncle Fletcher, Bluetooth Johnson, Leland Richards, Vernon Piggles

Listen for: Uncle Fletcher's rambling stories and his insistence on his own method for the bottle-and-cork problem.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
