What happens

Vic and Sade discuss whether Gumpox may keep five hundred Bijou theater tickets he found in Mr. Furman's garbage box. Gumpox has offered them to the Cook household, and Russell and Vic debate whether accepting them would be honest. Their talk turns to whether the tickets have any value, and to Gumpox's many past favors to the family. This is an episode of the Vic and Sade radio series, first broadcast on June 19, 1944, with Bernardine Flynn and Bill Idelson in the lead roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
