What happens

Mrs. Harris is visiting Vic and Sade in the living room when Rush arrives, sneaking about on a secret mission for his Uncle Fletcher. Fletcher wants to know whether Mrs. Harris is present, and soon he and his friend Dwight Twentysixler come in carrying a scrapbook of newspaper clippings and photographs about Dwight. The scrapbook, which Dwight has assembled, recounts his early life, his family and a childhood birthday party. Rush and Fletcher squeeze onto the Davenport beside the ladies as the pages are turned. This is an episode of the long-running Vic and Sade radio serial, first broadcast on 1945-11-30, with Bernardine Flynn and Bill Idelson in the lead roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
