What happens

Principal Jim Chinbunny, a young man newly running a large high school, asks neighbor Russell to teach him to smoke cigars in three days. He is attending a Chicago meeting on Saturday, where he hopes to appear older and more worldly before the important men there. Russell agrees to coach him on the refinements, including how to light up casually and puff smoothly in a hotel lobby. Vic and Sade are drawn into the scheme as Chinbunny calls the household and then arrives to start his lessons. The episode is part of the Vic and Sade series, first broadcast on June 2, 1944, starring Bernardine Flynn and Bill Idelson.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
